Acting master class with Andreas Manolikakis, former president of the Actors Studio Drama School (Master of Fine Arts) at Pace University in New York and Lifelong Member of the Actors Studio, for graduates and students of Drama Schools, as well as key members of theatrical groups, who live in Crete or are of Cretan origin. is organized in June 2022, by the Municipality of Chania and KEPPEDICH – KAM
The teachings of Andreas Manolikakis are based on the system of Stanislavski and the method of the Actors Studio.
According to what was announced, “the master class includes practical application on scenes and monologues, analysis of excerpts from classical and contemporary theatrical texts, a brief flashback to the roots and the evolution of the Stanislavski system.
In addition, participants will have the opportunity to come into contact with one of the fundamental processes of the Method for the training of the actor.
The acting master class will take place at the “Dimitris Vlisidis” Theatre on 20 – 26 June 2022, at 16:30 – 21:00.
