In the paths of documentary painting from the 1980s until today, through 104 paintings by 64 contemporary Greek artists, the attendees had the opportunity to “walk” in the first presentation of the exhibition: “The passion of the visible: Works from the Anthony and Asia Collection Hatziioannou ”, which took place this morning. The exhibition is organized by the Municipal Gallery of Chania and will be inaugurated, tomorrow, Saturday, May 28, 2022, at 20.00.

The collection of the Hatziioannou couple, which numbers more than 1.200 works, returns to the Municipal Gallery of Chania, where it was presented for the first time 15 years ago to celebrate a milestone: the completion of 40 years since its birth and to close in the best way one circle, ready to open another.
