The Children’s Choir of the Municipality of Chania was founded in 2004 under the direction of Giorgos Kaloutsis and the pianist Nikos Perakis. Over time the choir began to be limited to “thematic” performances, such as “Lilipoupoli” with a small orchestration in 2006, and “Mama mia” (2008). In 2010 there was a big opening to the Musical Theatre with the staging of the musical “Oliver” by Lionel Bart.
